The man was identified as Luiz Eduardo Silva dos Santos (29), an unemployed truck driver from the Brazilian city of Uruguayana, and the investigators' main suspicion is that he was the victim of a kidnapping in his country.

The discovery occurred last Sunday and the head of the Paso de los Libres Concrete Investigations Fiscal Unit, Facundo Sotelo, intervened, who confirmed that Silva dos Santos had been wanted by his family since last August 13.

A version released by the Paso de los Libres media, which cites Brazilian sources, indicates that the driver was the victim of a kidnapping by two men in the União das Vilas neighborhood of Uruguayana.
